Perfectly situated in the centre of the Wine Route and production of Marsala, the most prestigious fortified aromatic wine in the world, this wine tourism allows guests to have a unique experience among the noted great farms, the immense vineyards, a territory rich in history and ancient ‘baglio’ farm estates, testimony to the florid wine industry which developed in this part of Sicily in the mid-19th century.
The most suggestive of these baglio farm estate buildings and set in a true ‘oasis’ is “Donna Franca”, which once belonged to the Florio family, one of the most important families who made Marsala.
